Category: Cuban Cigar

One of the oldest brands in the Habanos range. This is a vitola last rolled by the factory in the 1960's.

To celebrate their 185th anniversary, Punch have released the Princesas, an Edmundo sized 5 5/16" x 52 ring gauge cigar in a box that's been designed especially for the occasion.

As usual, the cigar is 100% handmade from leaf sourced in the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Río and aged for a minimum of two years.

The Princesas has all the hallmark flavours of a Punch masterpiece,  it's medium strength and should give between 45 and 60 minutes of enjoyment. Well balanced, the profile evolves as you progress.

This has been an eagerly awaited release and will no doubt be sold out very quickly.

Timothy ★★★★★

The 5.5-inch ring gauge is exactly what I hoped for—a classic size that feels substantial in hand. The draw was perfect from the first puff, and the ash held firm for over an inch. This is a real treat, considering it’s a shape that hasn’t been rolled since the 1960s.

Finally lit one up after a few weeks of rest—the 5 5/1 ring gauge felt perfect in hand, and the burn stayed razor-straight all the way through. A subtle nuttiness came through that I wasn’t expecting for such an old-school vitola. Definitely a treat for anyone who appreciates Habanos history.

Andrew ★★★★★

Smoked mine last night and the draw was perfect right out of the box. That 5 5/1 inch format feels great in the hand, and it burns evenly for a solid hour.
