Category: Cuban Cigar

The flavour of Hoyo de Monterrey blend makes it a winning choice for those who seek a delicate yet aromatic Havana that is lighter in taste but with great elegance and complexity. The ideal mid-morning/afternoon cigar, mild, rich and a pleasing smoke to savour.

‘Hoyo’ literally means a ‘hole’ and in this case, describes the low-lying position of the plantation on the fertile banks of the San Juan y Martinez river.

Edward ★★★★★

I lit this up as a mid-morning treat and was surprised by how smooth and elegant it stayed from start to finish. The draw was effortless, and that delicate, aromatic Havana blend gave it a refined complexity without being too heavy. Definitely a perfect choice for a lighter, more thoughtful smoke.

Richard ★★★★★

The wrapper had a beautiful oily sheen, and the draw was perfect from the first light. The mid-morning smoke was smooth and elegant, with that classic delicate Havana complexity I was hoping for.

Ella ★★★★★

This little cigar surprised me with how much complexity it packs despite being lighter than I usually smoke. The elegant, aromatic profile was perfect for a relaxed start to my afternoon.
