Category: Cuban Cigar

A banker from Germany, Herman Upmann moved to Havana in 1844 because of his love for Havana cigars. He also set up a bank that closed in the early 1920s. Thankfully the cigar brand he created didn't suffer the same fate and today is still loved by cigar smokers the world over.

This blend, which uses Cuban tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo zone in Pinar del Rio, was first introduced in 2013 in the Genios vitola.

This is a light and aromatic cigar with notes and flavours that are its DNA and a great introduction to Cuban cigars.

Thomas C. ★★★★★

The earthy aroma right out of the cellophane was incredible, and the burn was perfectly even all the way down to the nub. For a single stick, the construction felt flawless.

Ryan V. ★★★★★

The draw was smooth from the first puff, and the ash held firm for nearly two inches before I even tapped it—exactly what I hoped for from a cigar with this kind of history behind it. A perfect way to close out the evening.

James C. ★★★★★

Just lit one up after a long week—the draw was perfectly smooth and the burn stayed even all the way through. Rich, earthy notes from the first puff to the last, exactly what you want from a well-aged Cuban. Definitely worth grabbing a single to try before stocking up.
