The felt pad was a bit thicker than the old one, but it pressed in fine and now my lighter's holding fuel much better than before. Definitely worth the few bucks for the fresh cotton.

The felt and cotton wadding fit perfectly into the insert, and the difference is immediate—my lighter now holds fuel for days instead of evaporating in two. Wasn't sure about the thickness at first, but it packs down just right to keep the wick saturated like it should.

My old wadding had gotten all crusty, but this replacement pack soaked up the fuel just like new. The felt pad went in without any trimming and the cotton packed down nicely. Solid little kit for getting my lighter back to peak performance.
