The Black Cavendish gives it that smooth, cool burn right out of the tin, and the Burley adds just enough backbone to keep the caramel from turning too sweet. I found myself puffing on it all evening, trying to pin down the layers without ever wanting to put the pipe down.

The mix of Virginias and Burley gives it a nice complexity, and the caramel-cherry note stays subtle without being cloying. Aroma lingers pleasantly in the tin, and it burns even and slow in my pipe.

That Black Cavendish base really smooths out the smoke, and the caramel-cherry topping comes through without being cloying. I've been experimenting with different packing methods, and this tin has been a joy to figure out.
