Savinelli Tortuga 鄉村風格第106號 - 6mm 石楠木煙斗

The bowl height of 42mm is a nice balance — deep enough for a long smoke but not so tall that it feels clumsy in the hand. The rustic finish hides fingerprints well, so I don't feel like I'm fussing with it after every use. Just wish the lid fit a bit more snugly, still a solid pipe for the price.

That first smoke with the 6mm balsa filter was noticeably cooler and drier than my other pipes. The bowl’s 20mm chamber is just right for a leisurely 30-minute smoke.

The briar is beautifully rusticated, and the 6mm balsa filter system keeps the draw smooth and dry from the first smoke. At only 39 grams, it’s light enough to clench comfortably while reading.
