Gawith Hoggarth Latakia 菸草 - 25g 散裝

Opened the pouch and that campfire aroma hit me immediately — just what I was hoping for. Mixed a pinch with a mild Virginia and it added the perfect smoky backbone without overwhelming the bowl.

The smoky, tarry aroma from the curing process is exactly what I wanted for blending; it gives my mix a deep, resinous base that's hard to find elsewhere. Smoked it pure first to test—rich and complex, not harsh at all.

Finally found a pure Cyprian Latakia that isn't mixed with a ton of other tobaccos. The smoky, resinous taste is exactly what I wanted for blending, and a little goes a long way to give my English mixtures that campfire depth.
