Box-pressed and cut perfectly, each cigar lights evenly and burns slow enough to savor past the halfway point. I’ve had a few estate blends that turn harsh at the end, but this one stayed smooth to the nub.

I’m not a fan of loose draws, but these box-pressed robustos have just the right resistance—burns even and slow without ever going out. The deep, earthy notes from start to finish really live up to that “strong soul” name.

The box-pressed shape holds its ash like a champ, which I honestly didn't expect from a robusto. The smoke itself is rich and bold from the first third to the last, and the Nicaraguan tobacco really lives up to that "Strong Soul" name. I've already got my eye on another box.
