The pouch was actually packed to the brim, and the leaf is so dark it's almost black, which smells exactly like the rum-soaked Cavendish I was hoping for. It smokes cool in my cob and the pepperiness gives just enough kick to keep things interesting, so this 250g bag will last me a good while.

The rum note is subtle but complements the peppery undertones perfectly. This blend burns cool and stays lit without constant tamping. Finally found an all-day smoke that doesn't bite.

The black Cavendish base is incredibly smooth, and the rum flavor is noticeable but not overpowering. The 250g bag is a great value for how slowly this smokes, and the room note is pleasant.
