In the Condega region of Nicaragua the Plasencia family own a farm, Finca San Julián which stands 1300 metres above sea level.

The tobacco plants grown here benefit from more sunlight and cooler temperatures which in turn affects their characteristics giving a unique flavour profile.

Alma Del Cielo translates to "Soul of Heaven" in english and this new line from Plasencia cigars is really interesting.

This robusto cigar measures  4 7/8" x 52 ring gauge. It should last a minimum of 50 minutes and probably a bit more, so take your time don't rush.

Medium bodied, this is a flavour bomb that gradually evolves, experience wonderful earthy notes with cocoa, almonds and cedar appearing as you smoke down, lots of creamy smoke too!

The Plasencia family claim this series to embody their principles of sustainable farming practices.

A unique cigar for those seeking something different.

Stella ★★★★★

The wrapper has an oily sheen that promises complexity, and the draw is perfect right from the start. It’s a smooth, medium-bodied smoke with subtle floral notes that develop nicely. Definitely one of the more refined Nicaraguan cigars I’ve had lately.

Victoria Z. ★★★★★

That cool altitude brings out a really refined, almost floral character—the wrapper has a gorgeous silky sheen too. The draw was perfect from the first light, and it burned razor-straight with a clean white ash.

Samuel G. ★★★★★

The altitude really shows in how balanced this smoke is—cooler growing conditions up on that farm give it a gentle, refined character. I lit it up after dinner and it burned clean to the nub, no harshness on the retrohale. Only wish I'd bought a box instead of a single.
