Peterson Of Dublin Sandblast Speciality Briar Smoking Pipe - Barrel Sandblast
Category: Pipes
The Peterson Speciality series, first produced in 1945, consists of 4 styles (Calabash, Belgique, Barrel and Tankard) in several finishes, including smooth, rustic, and sandblast.
The bowls in the Peterson Speciality series are smaller than standard Peterson bowls and will suit those pipe smokers wanting a shorter smoke, they are great for ladies too, being lightweight and elegant looking.
This Barrel sandblast is a fine example of the technique and easy to hold. The vulcanite stem is straight drilled with no filter, a nickel band is the simple decoration, the patented "P" Lip completes the pipe.
Considered a good pipe to enjoy a flake tobacco with, like the donkey's gallop, the smoking time will be short but sweet.
Slow and steady is the watchword as the bowl wall isn't particularly thick and overheating can occur.
The Peterson Barrel Speciality briar pipe is boxed with a dust bag.
