Foundation Cigars Charter Oak Original Petit Corona - Single

The newest addition to the Charter Oak family, the Charter Oak Original beautifully bridges the gap between the smooth Connecticut Shade and the bold Connecticut Broadleaf. Wrapped in a stunning Habano leaf, this cigar delivers a perfectly balanced profile that complements the Charter Oak tradition of quality and craftsmanship.
Featuring a Nicaraguan binder and filler, the Charter Oak Habano offers a medium-bodied smoking experience, rich with notes of spice, hot chocolate, woody tones and an immense depth of finish, all at an exceptional value. A legend in Connecticut history, the hollow trunk of the Charter Oak was the hiding place of the colony's charter from King James of England.

Another legend is Nicholas Melillo (born and bred in this area), whose vast knowledge and experience of using Connecticut River Valley tobacco in cigar making is hitting cult status.

After a spell at Drew Estate he started Foundation cigars in 2015 with the aim of creating blends he would enjoy himself. The Charter Oak series is his way of paying homage to the area, its people and the tobacco they grow.
