Pressed just right—the flakes break apart easily without crumbling. Love how the dark-fired Kentucky balances the sweeter Virginias, and the rum isn't overpowering, just a nice background warmth. Burns slow and cool in my pipe.

The rum note really comes through on the first light, sweet and mellow against the peppery Perique bite. I’ve been breaking off small pieces and letting them dry for ten minutes, which makes the flake burn clean and slow. It’s become my evening smoke.
