The draw was perfect from the first light, and that unmistakable Partagas earthiness came through right away. It burned even and slow, easily lasting a solid hour and a half. If the factory has been doing this since 1845, they've clearly got it down.

Picked one up for a special occasion and the construction is flawless—that triple cap held perfectly through the whole smoke. Just the right amount of resistance on the draw, and the earthy, woody notes lasted well into the final third.

The draw was smooth from the first puff, and that famous Partagas depth came through strong within the first third. Burn stayed razor sharp for the full hour and a half I sat with it.
