Quick answer
Arturo Fuente dog bowls are collectible cigar memorabilia designed by Liana Fuente, featuring Opus X logos and playful paw-and-bone graphics. They come in Large and Medium sizes, each with distinct materials and care requirements.
Why choose an Arturo Fuente dog bowl?
These bowls are more than pet accessories—they're a celebration of the Fuente family legacy. Designed by Liana Fuente, an enthusiastic dog lover, they blend cigar culture with everyday pet care. The graphics include the Opus X logo, Hands of Time motif, and paw-and-bone patterns, making them a natural addition to a cigar lounge or mancave.
The bowls are made from durable melamine, with the Medium version featuring a removable stainless steel inner bowl and a non-slip rubber base for indoor or outdoor use. The Large bowl is a single-piece melamine design without the removable insert.
Key differences between Large and Medium
The Large bowl (9" round, 3.85" high) is a solid melamine piece with the Opus X logo and paw/bone graphics. It is not dishwasher safe. The Medium bowl (8.7" round, 2.7" high) includes a removable stainless steel bowl and a non-slip rubber base, making it more versatile for both food and water. The Medium is also easier to clean because the stainless steel insert can be washed separately.
Are these bowls practical for everyday use?
Yes, but with some caveats. The Medium bowl's removable stainless steel insert and non-slip base make it ideal for daily feeding, especially for dogs that push their bowls around. The Large bowl is better suited for water or dry food, but since it's not dishwasher safe, hand washing is required. Neither bowl is recommended for wet food that might stain the melamine.
Frequently asked questions about Arturo Fuente dog bowls
- Are Arturo Fuente dog bowls dishwasher safe?
- No. The Large bowl is explicitly not dishwasher friendly. The Medium bowl's melamine exterior should also be hand washed; only the stainless steel insert is dishwasher safe. Hand wash the melamine parts to keep the graphics looking new.
- Which size should I choose for my dog?
- For small to medium dogs (up to 40 lbs), the Medium bowl (8.7" diameter, 2.7" high) is sufficient. For larger dogs or if you want a more substantial display piece, the Large bowl (9" diameter, 3.85" high) offers extra capacity and a bolder Fuente logo. Measure your dog's current bowl depth to ensure the new bowl is comfortable for eating and drinking.
- Can I use these bowls outdoors?
- Yes. The Medium bowl's non-slip rubber base and stainless steel insert make it suitable for outdoor use. The Large bowl is also melamine and can be used outside, but avoid prolonged sun exposure to prevent fading of the graphics. Bring the bowls indoors during extreme weather to extend their lifespan.
- Are these bowls just for dogs, or can they be used for other pets?
- They are designed for dogs, but the Medium bowl's removable stainless steel insert works well for cats or small animals. The Large bowl is best for medium to large dogs due to its size. For cats, the Medium bowl is a better fit to avoid a too-deep dish.
- Do the bowls come with any warranty?
- The bowls are sold as collectible cigar memorabilia and do not include a specific warranty beyond standard retail return policies. Check with Smoke-King Tobacconist for their return window. Inspect the bowl upon arrival for any defects before using it.
